In a forgotten corner of Antigua de Guatemala, the centuries‑old Convent of La Merced clings to its crumbling stone walls and faded glory. Within its cloistered courtyard moves Sister Eulalia, a blind nun whose whole life has been shaped by the rhythm of the convent’s silent corridors, and whose simple dignity masks the weight of long‑kept secrets. As the sisters go about their daily prayers, an uneasy tension begins to ripple through the air, hinting that something beyond the ordinary has entered their sanctuary.
The narrative follows the sisters’ quiet devotion as they confront a strange, unsettling presence that seems to awaken the ancient stones themselves. When the Mother Superior, a once‑renowned figure now reduced to a pale echo of her former self, utters a cryptic Spanish warning, the nuns are thrust into a moment of collective dread. The story balances the austere beauty of the convent with an undercurrent of supernatural mystery, inviting listeners to contemplate faith, isolation, and the thin line between the sacred and the uncanny.
