Description

In the realm of Lisuarte, a fierce dispute erupts when the king orders the disgraced knights Angriote and his nephew to leave his lands forever. Seeking refuge, they ride to the distant Firm Island, where they encounter Gandeza, a hidden lover fleeing danger, and her true love Sarquiles, who has just uncovered a treasonous plot. Their reunion sparks both joy and renewed purpose, as the band of exiles contemplates a return to the kingdom that spurned them. Meanwhile, the court’s political machinations begin to swirl, hinting at further conflict.

King Lisuarte, furious at the knights’ defiance, summons his council and vows to crush the rebellion, believing that restraint has only bred further danger. Wise advisors caution him, arguing that harsh reprisals could weaken his own authority and invite external threats, while reminding him of the knights’ proven valor. As tensions rise, both sides prepare for a clash that will test loyalty, honor, and the fragile balance of power.
