The sudden arrival of a gleaming Earth starship in the tiled streets of Lor sparks awe at alien technology and fear that its precious metal hull could upset the fragile economy. As the elders gather around their ancient table, they argue whether to seize the ship’s metal for profit or protect the timeless clay that defines their identity.

Zotul, the youngest brother, watches the heated discussion with a mix of curiosity and resentment, hoping to escape the role of family scapegoat.
