The Tale of Two Bad Mice

Inside a child's nursery sits a meticulously crafted doll's house, complete with painted brick walls, tiny muslin curtains, and a miniature kitchen stocked with perfect little lobsters, ham and fruit. When two adventurous mice, Tom Thumb and his wife Hunca Munca, discover the empty room, they venture inside, drawn by the tempting banquet laid out for the dolls. Their curiosity quickly turns the quiet display into a bustling scene of squeaks and tiny paws.

The mice discover that the doll's food is stubbornly fixed—ham that won't slice, fish glued to its plate, and containers that hold only beads. Frustrated, they begin to smash the porcelain meals, overturn chairs, and even try to pilfer the dolls' clothing, turning the elegant miniature world upside down. Their raucous antics awaken the dolls and the girl who owns the house, setting the stage for a playful showdown between the tiny intruders and their tiny victims.
