Description

An alien scientist from the extinct Triomed civilization slips silently into a dark cell on a remote Earth outpost, intent on finding a suitable host for his dying species. He observes the sleeping human from the shadows, marveling at the planet’s bustling cities hidden within dense forests and the myriad lifeforms that thrive there. Confident in his advanced biology, he prepares to merge with the unsuspecting biped, believing this union will revive his race.

The invasion begins at a microscopic level as the Triomed’s tendril infiltrates the man’s nasal passage, seeking the pineal gland to seize control of the brain. As the alien takes over the host’s senses, he experiences a flood of alien and human sensations—sounds of distant traffic, the rustle of insects, and the pulse of the city beyond the trees. Now embodied in a human form, he must navigate an unfamiliar world while planning the next steps of his species’ survival.
