The newest heir of the ancient Kralitz line awakens to a midnight summons, two cloaked figures guiding him through the shadowed halls of his ancestral castle. His dying father has spoken of a centuries‑old curse, a secret passed only to the eldest son when the time is right. Compelled by duty and curiosity, he follows the strangers down a hidden stairwell that vanishes beneath the stone foundations of the manor.
In the depths, a phosphorescent glow reveals a vast, mist‑filled chamber cut from the rock itself. Around a stone table sit dozens of gaunt, eyeless watchers, while grotesque silhouettes drift through the fog, their sounds a chorus of maddening laughter and shrieks. The heir stands at the threshold of a realm that feels both terrifying and oddly familiar, aware that the truth of the Kralitz curse lies just beyond his reach.
