Description

Commander Y'Nor of the Vogarian State arrives on a remote world hoping to secure the elusive Elusium X fuel needed to return his cruiser through the treacherous Whirlpool star cluster. He is met by Brenn, an aged leader of the so‑called Golden Saints, a community that survived a brutal exile and now claims the planet as their own. The uneasy meeting quickly turns into a negotiation: the Saints can produce the fuel, but they demand recognition of their freedom.

The exchange reveals a clash of ideologies—Vogarian authority versus a fledgling, pacifist society fighting to preserve its autonomy after centuries of oppression. As Y'Nor weighs the price of the fuel against the cost of subjugating an entire race, both sides grapple with the promise of a “helpful hand of God” that may either save or condemn them. Listeners are drawn into a tense first act where diplomacy, desperation, and the looming threat of force hang in a fragile balance.
