In a landscape where the Rhine winds past ancient towns, a boy named Siegfried grows up under the watchful eye of King Siegmund and Queen Siegelinde. From his earliest days he trains relentlessly, turning the fields and forests into his classroom, sharpening his senses as keenly as his sword. By the time he reaches his teens, he already rides untamed horses, bests older knights in secret tournaments, and proves his courage knows no bounds.

Yet his father reminds him that strength alone is not enough; wisdom and the ability to turn foes into friends are the true marks of a hero. Stirred by a minstrel’s song of dragons guarding the fabled Nibelung treasure, Siegfried’s restless spirit pushes him beyond the castle walls on a storm‑laden night. He chases the wind through dark woods, confronting the wild creatures that lurk there, driven by a burning desire to test his mettle and discover his destiny.
