Fire Island

A young naturalist named Oliver Lane sets out from Singapore on the brig Planet, eager to explore the lush islands and vibrant seas of New Guinea. He imagines dazzling birds, coral gardens and crystal‑clear waters, a dream shaped by his father’s scientific legacy. Instead, the expedition quickly turns into a test of endurance when a sudden, ferocious storm sweeps the vessel into darkness.
