A young girl named Dorothy lives a simple life on a Kansas farm, caring for her aunt and uncle and dreaming of adventure. One stormy afternoon a sudden cyclone whisks her house away, landing her in a bright, unfamiliar world where tiny Munchkins celebrate her arrival and a kind witch offers guidance. She learns that the only way back home is to seek the great wizard who dwells in a dazzling Emerald City, but first she must travel the famous Yellow Brick Road.

Joined by a wish‑fulfilling scarecrow, a heart‑yearning tin woodman, and a timid lion hoping for courage, Dorothy’s quest quickly turns into a series of whimsical encounters.
