In a bustling, allegorical court where a self‑appointed “King of News” doles out silver to the impoverished, three friends—Brillo, Electo, and Brindo—navigate a world of absurd decrees and rigid hierarchy. Their daily lives are colored by the king’s whims, his strict rules about who may speak or trade, and the ever‑present tension between wealth and poverty.
When a destitute stranger arrives at the palace, clutching a modest bundle of cheese, the trio finds themselves caught between the king’s stern commands and their own hunger for a better life. Their encounter sparks a subtle rebellion of conscience, hinting at the choices they must make as they grapple with authority, loyalty, and the simple desire for sustenance.
