Description

A weary traveler awakens in a modest farmhouse after a night drenched in rain, his senses slowly piecing together the unfamiliar surroundings. The room is modestly furnished with layered blankets, pine and cherry branches in the walls, and the faint call of a rooster mingling with the low moo of a calf. As daylight seeps through a crack in the ceiling, he grapples with questions of identity and purpose, feeling both disoriented and oddly comforted by the simple rural rhythm.

Outside, the harsh, lingering winter gives way to the first hints of spring; the air clears, the sky brightens, and the landscape unfurls into a mist‑shrouded expanse of forests, rivers, and blooming fields. The narrator and his companion, Risto, step onto the damp grass, drawn by the chorus of birds and the promise of renewal. Their journey, marked by sleepless nights and relentless cold, now teeters on the cusp of a brighter, more hopeful season.
