Sammie and Susie Littletail

Deep beneath a sunny mountain park lives a charming rabbit family with long ears, pink eyes and short tails. Their home is kept tidy by Jane Fuzzy‑Wuzzy, a friendly muskrat who cooks, cleans and watches over the curious siblings Sammie and Susie. Wise Uncle Wiggily Longears, though arthritic, offers lessons about safety, like always having two exits from the burrow.

One crisp morning the twins slip out to play in the snow, excited by a bright cabbage stalk they think is a stray from the kitchen. Sammie, ignoring Susie's warning, bites the stalk and a sudden click traps his hind leg, leaving him crying for help. Fearful but brave, Susie races back to the burrow, alerting her parents and Uncle Wiggily, who scramble to devise a rescue plan.
