Description

A newly arrived tenant, Mr. Lockwood, finds himself drawn to the bleak yet striking estate of Wuthering Heights, perched on the windswept moors. His first encounter with the brooding master, Heathcliff, is marked by a tense exchange that hints at a deep, unresolved bitterness beneath the house’s grim façade.

Inside, the cramped, stone‑filled rooms echo with the sounds of a bustling household, its furnishings and weather‑worn décor reflecting a rugged, self‑contained world. As Lockwood settles in, he becomes an accidental witness to the tangled histories of the families who inhabit the estate, their passions and resentments intertwining with the relentless, storm‑laden landscape.

Through his observations, listeners are invited into a tale of fierce love, rivalry, and the haunting power of place—an atmospheric portrait that lingers long after the first visit to the moorland manor.
