Description

A centuries‑old curse looms over a Welsh clan, traced back to the fierce chieftain Owain Glendwr. After a betrayal that stains the blood of Rhys ap Gryfydd, Glendwr condemns his former friend’s descendants to endless misfortune, declaring that each generation will see its fortunes melt away and that the last male will one day avenge the original wrong. The Griffiths, bound to the rugged valleys and mist‑shrouded farms of North Wales, have spent generations feeling the weight of that prophecy, their modest holdings never quite escaping poverty or loss.

When the eighth generation reluctantly unites with an heiress named Owen, the old doom seems to stir anew. The story follows the family as they return to the bleak, fir‑lined valleys near the sea, where the landscape itself bears the scars of forgotten curses. Amid the lingering fog and the whisper of ancient verses, listeners are drawn into a tale of heritage, lingering guilt, and the quiet hope that a single act might finally break the shadow hanging over the Griffith line.
