Description

An adventurous miner named David Innes inherits a puzzling machine from a reclusive inventor, a massive, drill‑equipped steel cylinder designed to burrow through solid rock. When the device finally roars to life, it hurls its crew deep beneath the desert, launching them toward a realm of perpetual fire and unimaginable geography. The descent is fraught with awe‑inspiring phenomena, from glowing caverns to strange, prehistoric beasts that crawl in the darkness.

Beyond the surface world, they discover a hidden civilization ruled by a fierce queen and haunted by ancient conflicts. Alliances form and rivalries flare as the explorers confront a society that has never known the sky, while the very environment threatens to crush their hopes. The first act sets a tone of wonder and danger, inviting listeners to imagine what lies beneath our feet and how far courage can carry a man when the earth itself becomes a frontier.
